Diplomate Of National Board (DNB)

Nazareth Hospital imparts post graduate training in the broad specialties of Paediatrics, General Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Anaesthesiology. The Diplomate qualifications awarded by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences have been equated with the postgraduate and post doctorate degrees awarded by other Indian Universities by the Government of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare; vide their notifications issued from time to time. The holders of Board’s qualification awarded after an examination (DNB Final) are eligible to be considered for specialists post in any Hospital including training/teaching institution. (Kindly refer to gazette notification dated 20th February 2009 issued in this regard by Government of India.)

 

The students are provided bachelor student accommodation within the campus. Students studying at Nazareth Hospital are not required to serve any type of bond. All seats are in open category. The stipend for students are revised periodically and at present are as follows – 
First year INR 58,000 pm
Second year INR 59,000 pm
Third Year INR 60,000 pm
Secondary DNB students
First year INR 59,000 pm
Second year INR 60,000 pm

Students have to pay the fees as applicable under NBEMS guidelines.

This 366 bedded NABH and NABL certified hospital is blessed to have a very heavy flow of patients (both OPD and IPD) which are excellent learning materials for post graduate training under the guidance of highly qualified faculty with many years of teaching experience . 24 hrs broad band internet, well stocked library and teaching facilities aims to provide the best atmosphere for learning. Most consultants and teachers reside within the campus.
