WHAT WE DO
Anaesthesia
The department provides anesthesia services to more than 3000 elective and emergency surgeries each year for General surgery, Pediatric surgery, Orthopedics, O&G(Obstetrics and Genecology), ENT and Ophthalmology surgeries in 6 theatres equipped with state of art anesthesia workstations from Datex Ohmeda in each theatre. Each workstation is equipped with an advanced monitoring system from Philips capable of doing invasive & non invasive monitoring along with sevoflurane and desflurane vaporizer for better patient safety and comfort. The operation theatres are well equipped with devices like fiberoptic intubation, advanced supraglottic airway and needle cricothyroidotomy for difficult airway situations.
Apart from providing general anesthesia services from neonates to geriatrics with multiple co morbidities, the department is also providing regional anesthesia services including labor analgesia and different modalities of post operative pain management.
