Welcome to the Department of Surgery, Nazareth Hospital, Shillong. We have been conducting a wide range of Surgery ranging from Surgery for newborn babies to Surgery of the chest.
Patient Services
Surgery for the Newborn like repair of many types of Congenital abnormalities, as well as other types of surgery for children.
Adult Surgery for all systems, including Oesophageal Resection for Cancer.
Day Care Surgery
Laparoscopic Surgery for the Gall Bladder, Appendix and Hernias, as well as more advanced Laparoscopic surgery for the Kidney and Ureter.
Removal of stone in the ureter through the Urinary Bladder (URS).
Out-Patient Services –General And Consultant Opds
Monday to Friday 8AM to 12 Noon and 2PM to 5PM.
Inpatient Services
We admit patients in General as well as Private Wards.
Emergency Services
We are available 24 hours for Emergency Care and carry out surgery at any time depending on the need.
